This eight-panel brochure provides the goals upon which the Texas Sea Grant College Program will focus during the next four years. This is a revision of an earlier strategic planning document (Charting Our Course, TAMU-SG-99-601). The current plan incorporates elements of those developed by Texas A&M University and its College of Geosciences as well as plans from NOAA and the National Sea Grant Office and conclusion from a Texas Legislature interim study on the coastal area. Implementation of the goals outlined in this brochure will involve a series of steps relative to each item listed under the research goal and programmatic goal. That implementation plan, including performance metrics, is being produced separately.
