UJNR Aquaculture Panel

Texas Sea Grant will host the 38th meeting of the UJNR Aquaculture Panel and Science Symposium October 25-31, 2009, in Corpus Christi, Texas.

Registration is $100 for the symposium only and $250 for the symposium and field trips for those who register by close of business (5 p.m. CDT) Wednesday, September 30, 2009. Beginning October 1, 2009, the cost increases to $150 for the symposium only and $300 for the symposium and field trips.

Registration for U.S. residents must be paid by check or credit card by close of business (5 p.m. CDT) on Friday, October 16, 2009, using one of the forms linked below. International participants may pay onsite using cash or a credit card at the beginning of the program, but are asked to contact Michael Rust via e-mail or telephone by close of business (5 p.m. CDT) on Friday, October 16, 2009, to provide contact information and to ensure a space has been reserved for them at the symposium, field trips and other activities. International participants also have the option of pre-paying by using the registration form linked below.

U.S. delegates are responsible for making their own lodging arrangements, while hotel reservations for international participants will be made by Michael Rust unless specifically requested otherwise. The Omni Corpus Christi Hotel Bayfront Tower is the official meeting hotel; mention the UJNR Aquaculture Panel when making reservations to receive the meeting discount. Some meals and events, such as the Opening Reception on October 26, will be held at the Omni. Buses will be provided to transport participants from the Omni to the UJNR Science Symposium events held at the Harte Research Institute for Gulf of Mexico Studies at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi and to area field trips.
